A couple of weeks ago I went along to Vodka Revolution on Collingwood Street, Newcastle. I think this place is VERY underrated when it comes to food, a lot of people I speak to only think of 'Revs' as a bar but I'm telling you, the food is fabulous. Me and my friends love to come here when it's a bit quieter for a meal and a few cocktails and a catch up. It also helps if you buy a student card, 2-4-1 cocktails and plenty food offers.

My drink(s) of choice is usually a Rum Bongo, Pornstar Martini or an Amaretto Sour (it's so hard to choose). Although I love working my way through the menu, trying a different one each time as there's so many to choose from. I also usually go for the Blackened Chicken Burger with a side of Peppercorn Sauce, as shown above. Oh my word it's absolutely beautiful, and their coleslaw is lush! Charissa went for the non-alcoholic mocktail Raspberry & Mint Nojito as she was the driver, along with a chicken wrap and a side salad to share. The Green Salad has slices of apple in, which I'd never tried before and was actually weirdly tasty. I then opted for a the gooey Warm Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream which I just about managed to finish.

Next time you're pondering where to go for a bite to eat (maybe with a few too many cocktails) you should definitely give Vodka Revolution a thought as you won't be sorry!
